Al-Anwar has become a household name in providing services to the Hujaaj & Mu’tamir for more than a decade. Because Hajj & Umrah is our passion and with the permission of the Allmighty, we have served with great pride thousands of our pilgrims from all over Southern Africa. From the time that you register with us, we offer an awareness programme and literature to empower you, the Hujjaj. These awareness programmes grant the pilgrim the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the staff, as well as to be famed with the details and logistics of what to expect and how to help yourself when you are in Saudi Arabia. We the Al Anwar Group believe that empowering the Hujjaaj before departing from the shores of South Africa, means half of the challenges have been overcome. Each group is accompanied by experienced travel guides from the time of departure and our appointed Ulamaa to relate and motivate our hujjaaj throughout this spiritual undertaking. We have a staff compliment in Saudi Arabia consisting of 30 South Africans both male and female to efficiently serve our pilgrims. The accommodation we provide is within 5 minutes walk from the Haramain and has all the facilities and comfort to allow you to be focused on your Ibadah. Meals are included in all our packages. In Medina we include a continental breakfast and in Makkah we provide breakfast and a 4 course meal for dinner, prepared daily by international chefs with different varieties catering for everyone’s tastes. The pilgrims doing the full stay programme, meals continue until the 7th thil Hijjah, where upon breakfast is included until departure. For the Aziziyah programme, on the 1st of thil Hijjah pilgrims move to Aziziyah which is 4 Km from the Haram, with Shuttle services provided for all Waqts up until the days of Hajj. Our awareness and spiritual programmes intensifies during the build up period before hajj with various activities offered to the pilgrim during their stay. A lunch will be provided for the pilgrims while in Aziziyah until the days of hajj. Aziziyah is 2km from the Additional Camp in Mina and Hujjaaj has direct access from where they are based in Aziziyah, which allows them to move freely to and fro. |
